About the CMC Spring Festival:

Students study and perform with local and nationally acclaimed musicians, such as the Cavani Quartet, while connecting with peers in small ensembles. Each Friday prep sessions from 4:30-7:30pm, CMC associated faculty coach the student groups in learning to play together and creatively discover their own musical ideas. Then the festival weekend (May 19-20) includes inspiring coachings and performances by the Cavani String Quartet! The students who come to CMC grow both musically and personally. Leadership, responsibility, and cooperation are learned in small ensembles where each person must play a different musical part. CMC is a place where people, music, and life connect.

Friday Prep Sessions: All Friday prep sessions along with the Finale concert for the 24th Annual Spring Weekend Festival will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, except for Friday (May 19) for the Cavani String Quartet concert supported by Chamber Music Columbus which will be held at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Enrolled students receive a FREE ticket to the Cavani concert on May 19. Also, for those who participated in Fall and Winter sessions, there is no preference for 1st or 2nd session. All students must attend CMC from 4:30-7:30pm since there are only 3 full prep sessions before the weekend festival.

Please contact the CMC Admin Team if you have any questions about the program or how to sign-up.

Registration after April 19*: Due to space restrictions, enrollment is limited. Students are considered in the order that completed registrations are received. CMC reserves the right to refuse late registrations. A refund, minus a processing fee of $50, will be made with notice of cancellation by April 19, 2017. No refunds will be given for cancellations after this deadline. CMC, Inc. reserves the right to cancel this program registration. If the program is canceled, CMC, Inc. will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants.
