CMC announces the invitation of two CMC quartets into the finals of 2009 Saint Paul String Quartet Competition! Arcobaleno and Accelerando String Quartets will compete along with four other quartets on Sunday, April 26 at Hamline University, Saint Paul, MN at 12:30 pm. In addition, Accelerando, Arcobaleno and alumni group Viaggio Quartet are all invited to compete in the quarter finals of the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition held May 8 - 10 at the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, IN. Congratulations to the quartets! We want to thank you the CMC and CMColumbus community for support in helping these groups achieve their goals to compete in these esteemed national competitions. In particular, CMC recognizes the following sponsors for helping quartets with expenses to attend the Saint Paul and Fischoff competitions:
