Elizabeth Macintosh
Development Director and BookkeeperViolist Elizabeth Macintosh, a native of Columbus, OH, began studying the violin at the age three. When she was 14, she began playing the viola in order to form a string quartet with her pre-existing ensemble of three violins and a cello. She is currently a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder pursuing a major in Viola Performance with a certificate in Musical Entrepreneurship and minors in Business, Economics, and German Studies.
Outside of performing, Elizabeth is enthusiastic about arts administration. She was a Fellowship Student at the Chamber Music Connection from 2014-2018. Since graduating high school, she has continued to work at CMC as a coach, administrative assistant, interim Assistant Artistic Director, and assistant to the artistic director in the CMC Breathe Together, Move Together, Play Together Pedagogy Project. She now serves as the Development Director. In addition to her work with CMC, Elizabeth is the Operations Manager for the Caroga Arts Collective in Caroga Lake, NY, and teaches private violin and viola lessons at the Harmony Music House in Boulder, Colorado.
